Dear Chamber Executives:
For the past 2 years, the Utah State Chamber association has hosted a weekly legislative call for Chambers from across the state during the legislative session. With the 2019 session, we want to invite you to engage and participate in this opportunity. Abby Osborne, the Salt Lake Chamber’s Vice President of Policy & Government Relations, is at the capitol during the entire 45-day session and will be a great resource to get your questions answered and share information that you can take back to your members.
These short weekly calls are helpful to get a pulse for what’s happening on Capitol Hill, ask any questions you have regarding specific issues/legislation and discuss opportunities to work together as we advance the business community’s priorities during the session. We also encourage you to use any of the content from the weekly “38-15-1 legislative updates” to send to your members.
You should have received calendar invites with the call information. These calls have proved to be very beneficial and have helped us maintain a united front to the legislature.
We will have a call every Friday of the legislative session at 12:30 pm. The schedule is as follows:
- February 1, 12:30 pm
- *February 7, 10:00 a.m. Live 38-15-1 session during our Utah State Chamber Conference
- February 15, 12:20 pm
- February 22, 12:30 pm
- March 1, 12:30 pm
- March 8, 12:30 pm
